The WeHo Awards 2010

Last night The Weho Awards took place at the Playboy Mansion. I was nominated for Best Photographer, but my reason for attending the event had more to do with the venue than the actual awards.

Today we are learning how the award show organizers managed to piss off many West Hollywood gays... Oh, something to do with nominees and sponsors being charged up to $1,000 to attend despite the fact that they were nominees and sponsors. Because of this several of winners weren't in attendance to accept their award... Also, many of the nominees had no clue they were even nominated or that there was even a show. Producers of The Weho Awards must have slept through Award Show 101... Even I knew better and I'm just a pornographer.

Anyway, with that being said, I had a blast. I stuffed my face with good food, played with monkeys, got trashed at the open bar, took photos with my cock out on the front lawn, and lost my underwear in the grotto (that's all I am admitting to). For me the actual show was just background noise for my party. So, if there were issues there (and I don't know), I didn't notice them because as usual I was somewhere else having a blast when the drama went down... However, I did managed to be to accept the award for Best Adult Website (RandyBlue.com). All in all... it was a great night.
