PAPERMAG: Chris Rockway Interview

This week JD Ferguson gives us the first half of his favorite online duo from his favorite online porn company Randy Blue. Meet Midwestern, corn-fed, Nebraska hunk Chris Rockway. "What can I say? I got a thing for straight boys that do gay porn,” says Ferguson of Rockway. Can any of you die-hards guess who next week's second half will be? Stay tuned, ladies and germs. What's on you iPod?: Mostly rock... Incubus, Tool, Rush, but I have a very eclectic mix for traveling and my many moods/personalities. Everything from metal, classic rock, rap, techno, house, classical and even some old country.

How long have you been in the industry?: One year. I still consider myself new to the industry. No one is getting tired of me, are they?

How's life in Nebraska? I live in a pretty major city, but there still isn't much to do. I do like that I can go out to eat, shopping, whatever, or go to a river, lake and experience nature, all within about 10 minutes from my house. I will probably move out of state in the next year though. Possibly Cali.

What do you think is the problem with America these days? Our focus is progression without consideration. We need to do what's good for the global community. Not just for today, but for the future as well. Also, a large portion of the population is more concerned with pseudo issues. Matters that should stay within the home are being put on the political stage. Your personal preferences should not be laws.

Who do you support for president in 2008? Why is the choice always red or blue? We simply need more choices, and those who are qualified should be able to run. You shouldn't need 20 million dollars just to be a candidate. To answer the question though, I'm leaning towards Obama.

What's in your refrigerator? Chicken, fish, veggies and water. I try to eat as well as possible.

How many MySpace friends do you have? I have no idea -- but we're all very close.

What's your favorite food? Pasta with a heavy meat sauce, or ice cream.

What's your favorite movie of all time? I love movies! Drama, mystery, comedy or documentaries. I could never choose just one.

What was the last good movie you saw? Breach. It wasn't great, but it was pretty good.

If you could have sex with any celebrity who would it be? Dr. Ruth. I'll bet she knows how to please -- if she's still alive. [Ed. She is!]

If you were stuck on a desert island who would you want to be trapped with? MacGyver... Maybe he could make us a raft and we could get the hell off that island.

What TV shows do you watch? Right now, I really like Entourage and Hell's Kitchen. I won't miss Real Time with Bill Mahr when the new season is on.

Cats or dogs? I have a big dog I call "the cuddle monster,” but I love all animals.

How will you stay cool this summer? In the air conditioning, or in the
pool.

What are you working on right now? I have some upcoming appearances in West Hollywood and Sacremento, and I have a new video coming out on
randyblue.com.

What's next for Chris Rockway? Lunch. Tomato, basil and turkey breast.
