Sechrest Launches The X Show at Rage

WEST HOLLYWOOD - Porn journalist/ website owner/ adult-entertainment personality Jason Sechrest has announced the launch of his new live event, The X Show, at Rage Nightclub in West Hollywood on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

The weekly show, slated for Tuesdays from 7:30 - 9:30 pm., "promises to be unlike any other porn event in the world, combining the talents of porn stars with rock stars, models, mainstream celebrities, and local celebutantes as weekly guests," said Sechrest.

Audiences will be treated to cabaret-style seating on a first come, first served basis. There is no cover charge for the show, and an autograph station will be set up in a separate part of the club where audience members can meet the stars. "And those who arrive prior to the show's end at 9:30 p.m.," said Sechrest, "get into Southern California's hottest drag act, The Dreamgirls Revue, beginning at 10:00 p.m., absolutely free."

Mary Carey Puts Politics On Hold

LOS ANGELES - Porn star Mary Carey said on Monday she was dropping out of the California governor's race to be with her injured mother, who has been hospitalized in Florida since jumping off a four-story building last month.

Leno did not extend an invitation to either Carey or Angelides.

Carey said she expected her mother, who did not suffer any head trauma or internal injuries in the fall, to recover from her injuries.

The porn star said she had not abandoned her political ambitions and was considering a move to Florida, to be near her mother and possibly run against Gov. Jeb Bush.

"I am only 26 and have many more years to be involved in politics, but right now I must be in Florida with my mom," Carey said. "For now I would just like to ask everyone to pray for a healthy recovery."

Saturday Night @ Hot Dog!

QueerClick has announce the creation of the 2006 Gay Bloggies inspired by the Bloggies: Weblog Awards.

Low Hangers
