French Connection to Distribute Amateur Straight Guys
VAN NUYS, Calif - Amateur Straight Guys is the newest line to be distributed by The French Connection, Nick Gardner, French Connection Sales Manager told GAYVN today.
Effective March 2006, ASG Movies will be distributed nationwide through The French Connection. The first release will be the GAYVN-nominated Wankers. This will be followed by Ass Eaters Anonymous, which pays tribute to the "tongue in cheek" conquests of ASG stalwarts Doug and Jay.
2006 will see a new ASG title released every month with the occasional addition of a "classic" title.
"We have been looking for a great amateur line for a while," said French Connection owner Chris Hull, "but they all seemed sort of the same. There was nothing that made any of them stand out until we saw Amateur Straight Guys."
The movies are fun and sexy, Hull explained, and are often filmed in exciting places. The movies are sort of like a gay Shane's World, he said.
French Connection began a decade ago presenting foreign product shot or bought in Europe and South America. The company is best known for its 18 Today, Young & Uncut, and Capoeira series'. Recently, the company has been expanding into the distribution area, representing the Pantheon daddy and older/younger lines and On Top's erotic wresting series.
Another company that French Connection recently began distributing is Manhunter Videos. Manhunter has 12 bear and "real men" titles now transferred to DVD. The first to be distributed by French Connection is Wood Workin' Bears which ships today.
